Baby Rosa was born May 29th at 8 pds 5ounces.
Both Kel and Rosa are doing well!
I can't wait to meet her!

| The BEFORE picture. The paint job it came with didn't like the winter. |
![]() |
| Once I'd power washed it with the hose, it really showed the wear. |
![]() |
| So out came the Rustoleum 2x coverage spray paint |
![]() |
| Reese kept watch at a safe (and cool) distance by hanging out at the edge of the garage |
![]() |
| After coat #2 |
![]() |
| looking good! pardon the garden items holding down the classy black trash bag :-) |
![]() |
| Oh so much better! |
![]() |
| I feel like the flowers POP! more now too :-) |
![]() |
| The yellow Iris by the rock (maybe I should just refer to this area as the rock garden?) are now in full bloom! |
![]() |
| The 'grass' by the driveway was getting way out of control, so I took out the weed whacker and hacked it down. |
![]() |
| I also took care of some of the grass around the wood pile |
![]() |
| and also around the composter |
![]() |
| This needs to be cleared as it's the 'site' for the shed |
![]() |
| Much better! Along the driveway after taking out all the tall grass and weeds. I need to go back and pull out the taller weeds and decide what little trees to keep and what to pull out. |
![]() |
| Already looking better! |
![]() |
| So much grass and space between the driveway and the trees. I can't wait to put in flowers and some color! |
![]() |
| I'm contemplating ground cover like flox that will cover the ground and give some color under the larger trees! |
![]() |
| Cleared out most of the area where the shed will be. I stopped going back as there are larger chunks of downed trees that need to be burned up in the up-coming bonfire/ yard clean-up. |
![]() |
| the composter after clean-up |
![]() |
| closer look at the shed site. |
![]() |
| expanded the 'grass' out towards the neighbors. |
![]() |
| cleaned up all the way out to driveway! |
![]() |
| yay! driveway siting! |
![]() |
| I cleaned up that area to be larger. This is the view looking back towards the house. SO much more yard for Reese to play in! |
![]() |
| The cleaned up edge of the driveway |
![]() |
| I took the cleaned edge and went all the way down the driveway, creating a closed circle of what still needs to be done. |
![]() |
| But this way you can mow the yard and loop around down the driveway as well. |
![]() |
| co-workers and Matt hanging out before the race |
![]() |
| and families! |
![]() |
| Matt with Jordan. My co-worker Melissa's dog - he frequents the office as well and is friends with Reese! |
![]() |
| He got soooo many pets and hello's before the race, during the race and after the race, it was crazy! Such a cute face, how can anyone resist? :) |
![]() |
| We even found his almost double! |
![]() |
| both rescue dogs, both unknown mixed breeds |
![]() |
| but so sweet and friendly! |
![]() |
| After we finished the race and made it home again (I beat my best ever training time by 5 min!!) we feasted on a grilled dinner of burgers, the first corn of the summer, and some lovely dill pickles. |
![]() |
| MMMM! black bean double burger with muenster cheese and lettuce and tomato |
![]() |
| the fresh corn - which was grilled and then shucked afterwards - sidenote: TOTALLY easier to shuck corn after it's grilled than before! |
![]() |
| Matt's double turkey burger with lettuce, tomato, sauerkraut, mustard, and ketchup. |
