Montreal Pics!
In no particular order, here are the pictures (thank you Mellie!) from our trip in July to Montreal! ...... I had once again, forgotten the camera..... see my point about me being a lazy photographer??

What I've Been Up To....
Aside from ignoring this blog? LOL!
A little work in the basement - yeah, I know it still looks messy and bad. Sigh. I can't do everything all at once!
A little bit of painting. I am trying something funky with the test paints for the guestbath, study etc.
I tried putting my paper on the back of the bookcase in the study.
But I'm not sure if it's worth it since all the books cover the paper on the back.
So here is the backless bookcase, which shows the grey wall behind the cabinet and above is the new back with the grey, white and yellow paper.
I cleaned out the mail center, which was exploding so much that the garage door was having trouble opening and closing. Now? much better!
The TV now sits on top of the entertainment center
which means that the blue picture of Providence Harbor moved from the dining room to above the fireplace.
So I then moved the wall art from above the entertainment center to the wall in the dining room.
I also took away the black area rug from the dining room. I'm liking the cleaner look but can't wait to trade the wine rack for the buffet we've been looking at for the back wall. More storage!!!
Oh yeah! And I cleaned off the fridge the same day I did the mail center. Not completely clean, but much better than it was :-)

I finally got the Christmas stuff packed away and all stacked up (aside from 1 box) but I'm realizing that if I don't get this done sooner rather than later...... it will be Christmas again and time to take it all out again.
But since it used to look like this big mess...... I'm thinking that cleaning up can happen any time and even if it took too long, it still got done.
So just this 1 last box to go.... I'm planning on tackling it this weekend!

Mother Son danceIt was such a beautiful day! Mega congrats to the bride and groom!! I can't wait for the official photos!!!!! Looking back on the few photos we have, I realize how much we enjoyed the day and how fast it flew by - we were having too much fun to remember the camera! :-)
