Basement Day 6

While there wasn't much change today, a good part of the day was spent on 'hidden' projects - like sealing the crack in the foundation, meeting with the building inspector and re-building the bottom half of the stairs.

Corner crack in the foundation has been patched, dried and insulated!

so all steps have the same rise

The exciting news is that we passed inspection which means walls can start going up! Yay for walls! AND we chose carpet: the green swatch seen above (official name is Moss Green); the cool part is that it has recycled plastic bottles mixed with natural fibers - AND it's super soft! Score for recycling!
