we start with my sad urn |
which after 2 years out in the rain, cold and snow |
is looking a bit worse for wear..... nothing a little spray paint can't fix! |
but since the last time I painted, I painted the driveway... |
I put down a plastic bag to protect the driveway |
and pulled out the supplies! |
while Reese kept watch on the yard :-) |
after 2 coats of Rustoleum..... not too shabby! |
While the urn was drying, I pulled out my black Halloween wreath. Since black on black is creepy, but doesn't show up too well from the driveway... |
it got little spray paint job too! |
I taped the hanger so that piece of black will blend into the door |
after 2 coats of day-glow orange |
it gave the back a halo'd affect to the back |
and the plastic bag a festive glow |
I gave the wreath a third coat of orange glitter |
it took the edge off the day-glow orange and added a festive sparkle! |
quite the impression left on the bag! |
once the urn was dry, I put it back and added a large fall mum |
the orange wreath looks much better on the black door! |
Ready for Trick-or-Treaters! |
