Dragonfly

After much discussion and many years of talking and waiting, my well-loved 'blue' CR-V was traded in.....

I went in looking for a 2013, but we got a better lease deal on a 2014, so that's what I got. Grey on grey is the color scheme. I was thinking a navy or grey or black. The black only came with a black interior which is too dark to stay cool and if the car gets too hot, so does Reesey-face! I test drove a blue with tan interior (no navy with Honda's this year) but it reminded me too much of Nana. I know that sounds weird, but my Nana always had some sort of blue car - the one time she didn't, none of us liked it!

Because we've been questioned a lot already - Why a lease? - we did a lease for my new car because I don't drive all that much anymore. Around 10 thousand last year and this year only 9 thousand compared to the 28k I used to drive while commuting!! So a 12thou mile lease for 3 years was a great option. Also, our Financial Rep really believes this is the best option for us this time around. When Matt's car gets traded in, we will most likely buy since he drives all over the planet on a regular basis!

All the places Dragonfly has been!
she's traveled over 138,000 miles with me (not all commuting either!)
helped me move 4 times
my trusty 'blue' box of a car for 9 years!!
when I bought her I was still living with these two jokers! Matt and APH - in Mass
she carried a TON of wedding people and stuff!
was the designated cars for numerous other bachelorette parties and weddings!
we brought Reese home in Dragonfly!

all the miles, all the trips and memories we've made with Dragonfly.....
the car I almost didn't buy because I wanted another Accord but she fit into my budget better....
maybe it was a sign?
We'll miss you! Thank you for 9 wonderfully crazy years of dependable, reliable service.
I can't imagine what we would have done without you!!
Honda for life.....
